HGB Double Finalist in 2015 Westpac Waikato Business Excellence Awards

Here at HGB headquarters, it’s fair to say we’re a little excited. OK, we’re a lot excited.

The reason being… WE’RE FINALISTS in two categories of the 2015 Westpac Waikato Business Excellence Awards:

• Professional services
• Emerging business

This is our first year entering the awards and we are honoured to be recognised alongside some of the best businesses in the Waikato region; businesses which have the qualities to make a major impact on the national and global business scale.

A change of pace

Jacqui Gage-Brown, co-Director of HGB, says the nominations feel a little unreal. “Two and a half years ago it was just Kylie (Harcourt) and I with our laptops, working out of a home-office on the outskirts of Hamilton.

“Fast-forward to now and we have a vibrant office in the heart of the city which has become home to a wonderful creative team of eight, all of whom inspire us on a daily basis. We work together to get the best for each of our clients but have a lot of fun along the way.”

Our client base has certainly helped us get to where we are today.

“Every client of ours has their own unique set of needs and individual requirements,” says Kylie Harcourt, co-Director of HGB. “But one thing they all have in common is their belief in us and our values.

“We are a small company, admittedly with big ideas, and we are new on the scene as a marketing consultancy, so we appreciate the faith our clients have put in us, by choosing us to deliver their marketing needs.”

A core purpose

Right from the very beginning, Jacqui and Kylie knew we needed to differentiate ourselves and have done so by ensuring HGB delivers meaningful direct experiences for clients. Whether we’re developing inbound marketing or creative campaigns, implementing communication strategies, tracking lead generation, or writing and designing online and printed collateral, it’s all done with a strong sense of purpose and value. Attributes we look for in our clients and ones we believe have contributed to our business award nominations.

We’re so excited to see what the future holds and where we are in another two and a half years’ time, but for now we’re counting down the sleeps to the Westpac Waikato Business Excellence Awards Gala Dinner on November 6 at Claudelands Conference & Exhibition Centre in Hamilton.
