Getting and keeping the Waikato community active and moving is a big job. For over 35 years, Sport Waikato has worked to increase the physical activity levels of people in the Waikato region. This has been achieved by making play, active recreation and sport more accessible, exciting, relevant and inclusive.
Sport Waikato were looking for a new brand that reflected who they are, the next step of their journey, and their connection with the people. This was a collaborative project with the passionate team at Sport Waikato. Point B delivered brand creative that stayed true to the past by retaining the familiar of shape of the ‘W’ and traditional colours Sport Waikato are known for.
Reflecting on their bright future, the visual elements evolved to be more playful and energetic while incorporating movement which represents their brand and values.
